As an institution under public law, the HPA is affiliated with the Authority for Economics and Innovation. With almost 2,000 employees, we ensure the maintenance and further development of the port infrastructure in Hamburg. Flexible sediment management for a sustainable tidal port

The tidal port of Hamburg is subject to natural currents, tides and nautical challenges. That is why we rely on an innovative and flexible management system for water depth maintenance. We develop sustainable solutions to reduce the amount of sediment that needs to be dredged from the port each year.</p
